This playfully elaborated film is given a discreetly dramatic background, which is based on the idea of contact and contact attempts in an ossified society. The colours play a major and functional role in this. The images that directly refer to the basic idea (making contact) are normally polychrome, while the environment in which this takes place (the rigid society) is coloured monochrome.
