When Mia learns that her father wants to sell Charlie, the lion with whom she grew up, to hunters, she decides to take her to a reserve to save him. As a child, Mia developed an extraordinary friendship with Charlie, a white lion born on his parents' farm in South Africa. Three years later, Mia discovers that her father wants to sell Charlie to trophy hunters. To save her friend, Mia goes with him in search of a reserve.
